Sorry for another hiatus. Today was a big big day. . . we got a phone. . . and internet. . . and lights in the kitchen!! We moved to Central City on New Years Eve. Thanks to family for pitching in and helping out!! Since then, we've been unpacking and trying to stay warm. Dale and I have been off work since 12/23, so its kind of like we've had repetitive snow days. Like everyone else, we're excited for warmer weather so we can get out and about a bit. We are thankful for a solid roof over our heads and heat.
We enjoyed Christmas with my family on new years day (following a new years rockin' eve as we slept on an air mattress in tgeir basement (I was asleep by 10:00, for the record). We had a great time, as always, and the day wasn't complete without tons of food, cuddling with babies, a few wii contests, and tractor rides (next year Grandpa will be at the wheel!).
We have some big decisions to make and appreciate your prayers in that regard. Among other things, I'm trying to decide the best route for childcare for Logan, we'd love for a great job opportunity to come through for Dale, and of course, we've begun the perpetual "priority list" that comes with a 100 year-old house. We're trying to stave off cabin fever (yes, it can happen in a 2 1/2 story house, too) and are really looking forward to getting out and about and meeting people (did I mention that we were ready for warmer weather??)
