Extubation!

Today was a big day for us! They took Logan off the ventilator this evening and removed his tube! We hope he does well through the night and won't need to have it replaced. His cheeks are a little chapped from the tape, but he sure looks better without it! Daddy got to hold him tonight, too, which made both of them very happy. We got to hear Logan's hoarse, pee wee cry and it was music to our ears. Tomorrow I'll be dismissed from the hospital, so I'm sure it will be an emotional day leaving him here. He's in such good hands; the nurses are fantastic and shower him with love.
