That's the kind of day we had. Nothing very exciting happened (yaaaahooooo!--We LOVE those kind of days). The biggest thing that happened (aside from spending some quality time with mom and cuddling with dad for TWO HOURS!!) is that Logan seems to really like his pacifier. Not only does this help him self-soothe, hopefully it will help him coordinate his suck when the time comes to need that.
The nurse suggested today that I read to him. She said language development starts at 28 weeks, and since he was used to hearing me talk, it would be useful to read to him so that his speech skills aren't delayed. I figured the kid was enjoying the silence and the break from Talky McTalkerson. : ) Okay, so I'll read to him.
That's about it for now. We grabbed takeout for dinner and are hoping to make a very small dent in the mess that encompasses our entire house. Our thanks to the lawn mower fairy who took care of the lawn today!
Until next time-
